Pros: Easy installation
Cons: Expensive, low output. You'll be soon discouraged when you hear a real system.
The Bottom Line: Bass tubes could be good for tight spaces.

Why do people buy bass tubes? It completely astonishes me that someone would spend about $300 on an 8" bass tube. For $300 you could get a decent amp, and a decent pair of 10" subs, installed!!!
Forget about all decent amps and subs, a cheap Pyramid amp, and cheap Pyramid subs, would definitely sound better, and be louder than an 8" bass tube ever will. It's not physically possible for an 8" sub to displace more air than 2 10" subs. The reason I compare one 8" sub against two 10" subs, is that would be the approximate similar price range.
This is absurd to me, that anyone would ever by a bass tube. If you know a reason why someone would want to buy a bass tube, excluding an easy installation, please post a comment, or email me. (I exclude installation, because you can get subs, an amp, and installation for under $300, which is the price of this tube)
