| peco99999's Full Review: Sony STR-DE135 2 Channels Receiver |
This unit is a basic reciever with not many features. It puts out 100 watts per channel and it sounds very good. It has a 2 speaker selection so you can put 2 more speakers in another room. As far as I am concerned, it has plenty of inputs and outputs. The remote is nice because I can control my whole system with it. This unit has a switched socket in the back, which means there is a electrical on the back that goes on with the unit and off with the unit. This would be good for something without a sleep timer or even a subwoofer. Oh yeah this thing has a sleep timer which is nice to fall asleep to. This reciever only having 2 channels and no cineima sound decoding, it is realy only meant for stereo music. I have this reciever hooked up to a 200 watt subwoofer using the level line in because this reciever does not have a subwoofer out. That is all I would want on this. The speaker cable I am using the 2$ a foot 12 AWG JSC cable which makes a huuuuge difference. I would recomend to anyone buying good cable rather then the crap included with it.
