I recently bought this receiver and right out the gate I was happy. I mean, for about a $1000. you can have a really good sounding receiver with tons of features. Allot of the features found on this receiver you won't find on receiver's twice this price. It's got AC3, DTS, 6-channel input for future up-grades. It also has component video outputs which you usually only find on more expensive pieces of equipment. Heck, it even has video switching not to mention all the digital inputs.
This receiver is by far the best receiver you're going to find for the buck. The sound is awesome, the highs are clean and clear and the lows are explosive but tight. I really can't think of anything bad to say about this product.
If you're going to buy a receiver in the price range of $800-$2000 take a good look at this one! It's well worth it.
