| wflanagan's Full Review: Denon AVR-95 Receiver |
I have had the AVR-95 for about a year now. I picked it up at an auction site. I was replacing a Sony receiver with a bad amp, and this seemed to be a good deal at $575. And, boy was I right. Plenty of amplification, three digital inputs (all now used), and lots of power.
The only real downside on this is the size. Its large. My main storage for audio components is 16.75 inches wide, and the Denon is 17.125 inches across. Therefore, it sits out alone.
But, all in all, well worth the money.
Oh, and if you don't like "popping" as it goes into and out of Dolby Digital, then you might want to pass as well. I had a friend that had a Denon that popped, and it drove him crazy.
