The Bottom Line: Do not buy!!! A poor model from the Head Tech at JBL-HK Audio himself. If he won't use it why should you?

I purchased my unit directly from Harmon Kardon. I have been disappointed with the unit since I bought it. Out of the box, it had an annoying buzz in the front right channel and it popped every time a DVD switched chapters. I called the manufacturer, and they refused to authorize their own no-lemon return policy of 30 days. They instead gave me a list of 10 or 12 authorized service departments. Only one of them would accept a HK receiver while under warranty because HK does not pay for the labor and when they do, they are very slow to pay. It took almost 3 months to get the receiver fixed, and only a month later, it was broke again. I would not recommend any HK products to anyone. The quality of the product is not worth the hasel of trying to get it fixed if and when anything goes wrong. Get a Yamaha, Denon or Krell model. Most will sound as good if not better. Some cost more, but they are all expensive anyway.
