| wsh12324's Full Review: Onkyo TX-8511 2 Channels Receiver |
I purchase this receiver on E-bay approximately 6 months ago. I bought this unit after reviewing many receivers/and testing them out at local stereo stores.
I purchased this receiver to play pure simple Stereo music, CD's, and internet radio stations from my computer.
The Unit is a heavy, solid unit, with no fancy lights or graphs to bother you. All connections, knobs, and buttons are clearly marked and easy to use.
You can use this receiver as a multi-room unit, and play two sets of speakers at the same time. It comes with a fairly simple remote control, which I haven't used as of yet.
The clarity of this unit is super! It provides 100 watts per channel, which is more than most Average users will ever need for there listening habits.
Onkyo has again built a simple, direct unit for the average consumer that outperforms many much more expensive systems with fancy names on them.
