The PIONEER 608 DTS decoding is powerful with 500 WATTS, 20 TO 20 HZ FREQUENCY RESPONSE and able to customize the presets in DIGITAL AND PROLOGIC MODE,you can tailor a room with little effort.
The universal remote can control almost any component from SATELLITE to DVD.The 608 has OPTICAL and S-VIDEO for most inputs along with COAX for DVD.The DOLBY and DTS setup is explained in easy to follow instructions right down to speaker size for each channel and LOW FREQUENCY CROSSOVER settings to avoid SUBWOOFER DISTORTION.
The 608 has A and B speaker terminals for NORMAL STEREO MODE and adjustable IMPEDANCE from 6 to 8 or 8 to 16 ohms speakers. There is a CENTER CHANNEL OUTPUT for using your component TV INPUT and SPEAKERS for CENTER SOUND.You also have the option of 5.1 INPUT for DVD and any other device that has a DIGITAL PROCESSOR BUILT IN.
This receiver will rate high with upgraders who want more bang for the money, This receiver is built PIONEER TUFF and will deliver THEATER SOUND that will make you hear and feel what the movie makers can bring right in to your livingroom at a reasonable expense.
