I bought this reciever the start my home theater going. Let me say that it sure did get it going. This baby has enough power to run just about anything you connect to it. It has a super little feature that allows you to connect it to your computer and download the new technology as it is produced. This is a dolby 5.1 channel surround sound piece that you can upgrade to 6.1 or even 7.1 when they are released. This sucker pack quite a punch. It has numerous features that would blow your mind. it has an ample amount of inputs and outputs for all of your needs, whether it be a dvd player, or a cd player to even a record player. I would deffinitly recommend this reciever to anyone looking for the best, because that's what it is, the best.
