This SONY Receiver, puts out 120 watts of clear clean sound. Although it seems kind of low for a receiver in this price range, the good things that can be said about this receiver are endless.
1st. Puts out 120 watts per channell, unlike others who put out 500 x 4
2nd. The flexibility are endless. You have digital analog and coax inputs, 5.1 inch output and even digital outputs.
3rd. You have to love the front side video input (great for hooking up playstation)
4th. The remote is good. Battery compsumption is kind of high but nothing out of the ordinary
5th. It is SONY ES so you get a 5 year warranty on it. Solid design and double everything (power supply/digital decoders)
The only downsize to this unit is when using video inputs/outputs. Since the coax and s-video run on separate buses (for cleaner images) if you use an s-video input you MUST use an s-video output which kind of sucks if you do not have an s-video TV.
