| JCB1016's Full Review: Sony STR-DE335 Receiver |
This receiver is great! I have had almost a years experience with it and have yet to have a problem with it. The day that I bought this receiver was the day Best Buy re-opened so it was on sale for $190, a lousy 10 dollars off but hey.
I did my research on this product before buying it and 95% of the customers that have bought it were happy. I first turned it on when I had the antenna connected, it was so clear, the sound was cd quality.
I could not wait to hook it up to my DVD player. Connections were a breeze with the clearly labeled back, and 10 minutes later, my first home-theatre was operational. The quality of this unit rivals bigger and better receivers costing as much a twice as much.
I was also impressed with the bass boost, on some stereos you cannot tell if the BB is on or off, but with this one you cranked up the bass and my entire house was rockin. The only part of this receiver that I dislike is the volume knob could be a bit tighter, but this is not a problem.
This receiver is a great gift for a teenager such as myself or for a person who has a smaller room to contend with.
