| mrfcobf's Full Review: Yamaha RX-V2095 5.1 Channels Receiver |
For the first time, my home system now actually sounds as good as those "perfect" systems set up in the high-end stores. I was a little nervous about switching from separate components to a receiver, but in just 1/2 hour, I was converted.
The only complaint I have is about the remote. While it claims to be a full learning remote, plenty of the buttons refuse to do anything but their factory-programmed non-useful function. That aside, the 2095 is such a good sounding piece that I'm willing to put the remote in a closet and work with a true universal remote.
I recommend this piece to anyone who is willing to pay for the perfect home theatre sound. The dual zones will be nice next year too when we move to our new house where we'll have two sets of speakers in two different rooms!
I can't say enough about the unit from the simple hook-ups on the back to the intuitive menus to the excellent sound fields.
