| Acarian's Full Review: JBL HLS810 Main / Stereo Speaker |
My experience with the JBL HLS810 model speakers has been quite exceptional not only exceeding in quality, but overall performance too. While this model speaker produced by JBL is no longer made there are many ways you can still be able to obtain the opportunity to get your anticipated hands on these speakers to give a whirl around the bush. I ordered mine through a friend, and paid $150 for a double-set of these speakers which now occupy the lower portion of my house in the family room.
A solid, and fair deal in my opinion for such an exceptional pair of speakers, made exclusively by JBL.
Sound Output
Simply crisp, and clear these speakers output excellent sound. Never on any occasion in the past have I heard these speakers crack or even show early signs of fuzziness, a definite plus in these speakers. Out of my own curiousity I jacked up the volume meter a tad higher to see how much these speakers could take. You know, usually midway speakers get rather fuzzy as you proceed the volume notch up the scale. When I tested them out, they stayed on the top-notch crisp output that they exceptionally performed in the beginning to me. I can remember the music flowing intricately in through one ear, and out the other so clear, it put me in a dream world of fantasy.
Ease of Use
These speakers are extremely easy to setup and get working in no time, mine even came with a users manuel despite the fact I did buy them pre used. Although, I did not even need the manuel to setup the speakers. All you do is find the desired spot where you want your new or used speakers to go then set them up, and finally plug and rewire all the proper destinations. Then before you know it your set!
Durability
Above average, definently in my opinion. The durability of these speakers are pretty good, and are sure to last in the years to come with proper caring and cleaning techniques. Surely, if your looking for making an investment in paying a fair deal for a single, or pair of speakers this is the definite opportunity to take advantage.

Frequency, crossover amplifier power, and sensitivity
Applying to one of the towers with these following specifications: The frequency response is 42Hz-20,000Hz, sensitivity at 89dB, recommended maximum amplifier power is 200W (watts), impedance is 8 Ohms and the crossover frequency is 2700Hz.

Other noteable features of the JBL HLS810 speaker
-Features sonic quality of a tweeter
-Directivity and efficiency of a horn- simply the best.
-This tweeter is between two 51/2-inch polypropylene woofers- Helping to create the proper dispersion necessary to make the center channel dialog vut through the soundtrack.
-The speaker is shielded- Allowing you to place the speaker virtually anywhere anywhere without the danger of affecting television picture quality.
-Virtual Enclosure- Ported for an extended low-frequency response.
-Is equipped with five-way binding post for easy speaker cable connection.
Briefing
When you look at all the aspects of this double-set of speakers, this is truly a great selection in speakers. The pre-owned quality speakers that JBL has to offer are some of way better overall performance, verses other pre-owned speakers by other brands. While I did recieve a good deal on these speakers, they were all the while worth it. For as much as I have benefited from the JBL HLS810's they simply blew me away.
