Pros: Very good, flat sound, very accurate imaging, excellent powerful bass.
Cons: Perfectly acceptable for general music listening, but home theater where it really shines.
The Bottom Line: Liked the (+$500) Energy system better, but overall Polk = less expensive, flatter sound and better sub.

| jephryb's Full Review: Polk Audio RM7500 Speaker |
Sounds good with music, but not the perfect choice; these speakers were clearly made for home theater which is where they really shine. The response is so flat, and imaging so good, you forget where the speakers are in a dark room.
Speakers themselves are heavy and well constructed, and the semi-triangle shape looks great in glossy black. Each has Polk-typical vented design which gives the satalites better lower-range response. Thoughtful construction includes rubber mounts to offset the base port for flatter wall mounting.
Frequency response is VERY flat and imaging is outstanding. Center channel is also very flat response and very natural-sounding (I actually forgot I had a center channel). I paired this with the 12" powered sub, which is outstanding and more than enough for anyone unless you're breaking a lease or your neighbors are deaf.
(RM7500's are paired with a Denon 4700 THX Ultra reciever and Toshiba DVD player);
