Lots of boom..for lots of money!

I bought this sub so that my home stereo would be able to hit all those really deep low notes with ease. It takes the strain off the rest of the speakers which are made more to reproduce a wide range of frequencys. I went with the polk brand, because polk has established itself as a company that puts on top notch high quality products. This unit comes with a 165watt(RMS) amp..and has not one but 2 side firing 10" drivers. It comes with speaker level and pre-amp level imputs for easy connection to any stereo. It also gives your awesome control of the bass with volume, crossover frequency, phase controls and switchable bass boost!! This unit has really done the job for my room, if i turn this bad boy up loud...all of the icecicles will fall off my house in the winter! I think the price is a little much for the average family though - which i think is the only downfall of this product.
