Pros: Clean and Tight Velodyne Sound. Frequency Response Down to 22hz. Under $400.

Cons: No Remote. Can Upset Your Neighbors.

The Bottom Line: For under $400, this is the best subwoofer that you can buy.

This is the best 10" subwoofer that you can buy. The amount of bass that comes out of this unit for a 10" model is insane, and the bass is clean and crisp. The frequency response goes down to about 22hz in my living room. Running a test with an action movie will make yourself question whether or not your chest is going to cave in. This subwoofer is also wonderful for music. This is something that you can rarely say about cheaper subs, because they lack the tightness and response that is required in a fast paced music setup. This is absolutely the best subwoofer under $400. I highly recommend it to anyone that is putting together a quality home theater system.
