I have recently added a Velodyne CT-120 to my home theater. This Sub produces a serious amount of bass. From outside my house at half volume I could hear the beats of a techno CD. This is not a toy it is for serious home theater application. The bass response for this sub is very accurate with clear distinct bass hits on every explosion, gun shot or alien ship that passes over (And boy does it pass over). This sub also has a gain control and connectors for additional speakers in the rear of the sub. For the money you can't do better than this velodyne sub. The CT-120 hits hard.
