Great Center Channel

Pros: Good for voice and dialog.

Cons: Not good if needing high bass output (not designed for either being a center channel)

The Bottom Line: Keep it as designed for which is a center channel and not ask too much of it. Buy a sub, decent surround speakers and an amp and your good.

I do not know where everyone else is getting their bad reviews for this product. I have had no problems with this speaker and have had great sound output from it. I don't know if these bad reviews are coming from a bad receiver or what, but I do not see what they are saying. The price is the only offset about this speaker. However, with this as a center speaker and Bose 201 surround speakers and a subwoofer this makes a great system. If the people who have had bad problems with this speaker are trying to get an entire surround sound system out of this speaker that may be the problem. It does great for spoken words and I use mine all the time when listening to normal television programs or watching movies. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else as a center channel speaker. It has a slim design that fits perfectly on the top of my television. As said with many other reviews the speaker does not perform well during movies. This has got to be a setting on the amplifier; I have experienced no problem with this speaker with spoken voice or dialog. As for the comments about bass output I would defiantly agree, but this is not the purpose of the speaker. If you want a whole 5.1 or better system out of one speaker, then I would agree, but this is not what it was designed for. Buy a subwoofer and four more speakers, middle of the line amplifier and you are good to go with more than enough sound for your living room.
