When building a decent home theater, one should automatically think of Bose. I had 2 Bose front speakers and 2 rear surrounds, and I was considering getting a Cerwin-Vega center channel. The salesman told me that I should voice match my other speakers, and that seemed to make enough sense. I was always impressed with Bose sound, and it's generally regarded that center speaker is the most important, so why not get the best?
I couldn't have been happier. The VCS 10 is a dream. The sleek design is perfect to fit on top of a TV set, and it doesn't draw too much attention to itself, which I personally prefer. The volume is balanced perfectly so it doesn't drown out the front speakers, which other center channels seem to do from time to time. I highly recommend the Bose VCS 10, although if you have another brand of speaker it won't be voice matched. Otherwise I say go for it.
