| mixednuts5's Full Review: JVC XV-501 DVD Player |
Well, to start off, we bought a JVC DVD because we are loyal JVC owners. We have a complete JVC stereo system and two JVC vcr's. The main we reason we bought JVC was the compulink feature. WRONG WRONG WRONG!!
This DVD player didn't last in our house for 24 hours. We purchased the DVD from Sears because it was the right price, and it was JVC compulink. We then purchased a DVD movie. We were so excited to finally have a DVD player. After about 2 hours of messing around with the unit, my husband went down to get another DVD movie. Shouldn't have wasted his time.
This system is simply no good. It kept freezing up on us, the sound wasn't spectacular either. Finally gave up the ghost after about 4 hours total of trying to watch a 2 hour movie.
We were very disappointed with this DVD player, and went out and bought a Toshiba 2150 a couple days later.
