short lived fun

This thing had the greatest user interface, and I loved it... until it died about five months after the warranty expired. Perhaps I should have bought the extended warranty, but usually JVC makes a good product and I didn't think it would be necessary. As I said, I loved the way the machine was set up and it was a joy to use, it really brought the special features on a DVD to the forefront. It just only lasted a year and change. AND HERE'S THE IMPORTANT PART - JVC only covers their stuff for 1 year. After that you're on your own for parts, labor, the whole kit and caboodle.
