Lovely, but slow

Beeing digital means that it should respond to your every command in a fragment of a second. It does not. Like all other DVD-players the Nakamichi 10 is slow. The menus comes slowly to you. It stops a-f-t-e-r you press pause, and to go fast forward means that you also must go slowly backwards to reach the point where you want to be.

I won this machine in a competition, and I am very happy with it. It looks great, feels great, the technology seems to be suprior. But not good enogh. To get five stars, the DVD must evolve to instant reaction.
