When you first plug this bad boy in and pop in a dvd you get smashed in the face with quality and enertainment. This dvd player is perfect for the avrage movie watcher. I have had this unit for close to 3 months now and alll i can say is WOW....from picture to sound panisonic has realy made a winner. The sound is unbelivable, it realy feels like you in a movie thearter with THX sound. As far as the picture goes its sharp as day and crystal clear. I heard from freinds that dvd picture is amazing but until i acutaly had a dvd player of my own i had know idea how good it acutaly is. I have had no problems with this unit, panisonic has made it very strong and durble. It is easily able to stand up to every day wear and tear. Over all this is a great Dvd player and i would suggest this to anyone who wants quality at a decent price!
