I had bought this DVD player around the time of Thanksgiving and it was on sale for 179.00 or somewhere around there. The store i had bought it from was giving out a mail in rebate of five free DVD movies which consisted of: Stepmom, Six Days and Seven Nights, Stargate, Lost in space, and also Leathal Weapon 4. If you were to buy all those movies individually it would have probably cost you around seventy to one-hundred dollars, so that was a plus. Also they included 13 free DVD rentals from Blockbuster which at 3.99$ for a rental ended up to be about another fifty dollars worth. Adding the rebate up came out to the price of the dvd or close, which in my eye's I couldn't go wrong! DVD quality is outstanding, video and audio, plus rewinding and pausing are very easy. Im sure that there are other expensive ones out there that have their bennefits but for the price i couldnt go wrong.
