| raulizahi's Full Review: Pioneer DV-05 DVD Player |
Hi,
Again, I purchased this DVD player as an example of the absolute "state of the art" so that I could present the best picture to my potential partners/investors/customers.
The DV-05 is a great workhorse, it has been running in our lab almost non-stop for more than one year and you can always trust that it will give you a great, detailed picture and excellent audio.
My only issue would be related to not having reverse single-frame stepping. The Sony DVP-S7700 does it.
One interesting mixed feeling that I have is related to it weight. It is very light compared to other top-notch DVD players. The weight can help with stability, however when taking it around for demos it is a benefit to have something that is relatively light.
The user interface is very good and heavy use of the player does not bother it at all.
