After doing some research at various places, this one seemed the best buy for what I wanted to spend. I haven't really had any troubles with it. Occasionally, the frame will freeze in the middle of a scene for about a second, but I don't know if that's the player or the DVD itself. Other than that, it's been trouble free. People complain about the remote being too small, but it doesn't bother me. There are sufficient functions for the casual viewer, including slow motion, frame by frame advance, 3x zoom, and a multi-angle option. It's a little loud when the tray opens, but not uncomfortably so. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this machine.
