Pros: Small, Attractive, and Easy to operate

| brandonf's Full Review: JVC FS-SD5 Shelf System |
I purchased this stereo at Circuit City right before I started my new office job because I knew I would need a good sounding stylish radio to keep me from going insane. I looked at a number of different units from Pioneer, Sony, Aiwa but they were either too expensive, did sound as good or were just ugly. I finally settled on the JVC because of it's size, looks, and good reputation of quality. My only complaint is that the unit lacks low end punch however if you are planning to mainly listen to the radio like I do, this won't be very noticeable. If I had it to do all over again I would probably look at a Bose Wave Radio with CD even though it's about $100 more.
