I had been needing a new stereo because my other was a small, not very durable single CD player. I looked around for a larger, more durable CD player that could hold at least 3 CDs. I went to a friends house and saw her Sony R-2900. I fell in love with it. It was exactly what I had been wanting. So, I went to a local electronics store and found it right in the front window. I knew then, that I had to have it.
I told my family members about it and they bought it for me for Christmas. It was $900, but that's not very much when you see everything that it does. It's absolutely wonderful.
It's a 5 CD changer, surround sound stereo system. It sounds great. It's very clear and picks up every station with a crisp, clear sound. There's no static or anything to worry about. It has a double tape deck with recording and recording speed modes.
I would recommend this system to mainly teenagers, because it's something most teenagers would love and want to have. It can get VERY LOUD, and that's another reason I believe that teenagers would enjoy it. However, it still is good for any adult. I really enjoy it.
