I was in the market for a stereo about two years ago. I listened to at least a hundred systems. Some were out out my price range, some did not have high enough watts per channel, some sounded good, and others were just horrible. And then my search was over when I came upon my Sony!
The clarity of sound this system provides is brilliant. Depending on the type of music you listen to, you hear each note come to life, whether it is vocal or instrumental. And if you like your music loud and full of base, this system is fully charged to handle your request. If you can't tell already, I love my Sony.
So, if your in the market for a rack system in the $600-$700 price range, go down and listen to the Sony selection. While it may be a bit more pricey than some of the competitors, I think it's worth it for the quality and longevity of the product.
