Being completely electronically challenged, we set out to fulfill our dream of Home theater. First we started with a Mitisubishi 55 inch Tv, proceeded to the Sony DVD player and finally completed our system with the Yamaha YHT-16. We love it. The sound is awesome for what we paid for this system. everything is color coded, so quite easy to set up for us challenged folks. We were going to go with a Sony system untill I was told by several people that Yamaha is a far superior product. Unfortunatly I cannot tell you specifically in detail how each and every component preforms, but I can say that the end result is a fabulous sound effect. We sit and listen and wonder how we ever watched TV with out this surround sound. This was after 10 minutes of watching a DVD!!. I will definetly reccomend this product to anyone, and yes I know coming from a novice it may not mean much, but I do have great hearing and this system rocks!!!!
