The Onkyo CS-209 is so precise on sound quality it recreates the music into something that sounds better than real life surroundings. It is highly capable of producing an atmosphere of surround that is equal to or better than units of almost twice the price.
With 20watts per ch. for the surround, submersion of yourself in the high quality reproduction is amazingly surreal.
If you desire a hard core system that can bellow out bass notes like a whale then the PS-509 will bring the walls down. Just set the speakers up in the corners and get ready for some explosive bass. The mids and high bring the voices to life in such a fashion that the actors seem to be talking right in your ears.
Onkyo has been around for quite some time and they make some of the best stereo equipment in the world at affordable prices. So if your looking to impress the neighbors or to recreate an environment of total sound submersion then the Onkyo CS-209 will preform like a superstar.
