If you want really awesome sound quality along with nice looking, I'd suggest buying the SC-AK27 which is what i have. It is an awesome component and instead of black as the main color it has a silver face which makes it even more enjoyable to look at. It has two built in "SUPER WOOFERS" on its speakers along with a 5 CD changer and a dual cassette player. IT also has a demo mode which lets you watch Panasonic made animations on the MULTI-FUNCTION DISPLAY which also has a bass ticker which watches all the beats. Overall, if you are looking for a good piece of machinery and a nice looking one, buy the SC-AK27 by Panasonic for the maximum audio quality. Also, if you are looking for a nice stereo to buy for your teenage but you're not sure what to give them, this would be the one. Check C-NET.com for the lowest available prices in all entertainment, along with other electronics and products.
