I actually own a sister system to this one, the SC-AK91, which shares all the same features except that it doesn't come with surround speakers. The system DOES have the connections for them, but isn't shipped with the speakers.
This system sound great for the money. It has a ton of base, thanks to those extra subwoofers, but also maintains a clear top end. The sound is a little bottom heavy, but don't expect a Klipsch sound for this much money.
The 50+1 system works fantastically, and unlike other multiple changers I've owned, it doesn't jam!! I've owned this system for years, and I've never once had a problem with the changer mechanisim.
I use and abuse this system all day and all night long every single day. I run all the sound from my computer through it, as well as my home audio, and it is almost always turned on. It's never even broken a sweat.
