Pros: Overall the sound is great.
Cons: hooking up a turntable to listen to old classics won't fly, even with a preamp
The Bottom Line: There's still some limitations, not really worth the price. Won't make another hasty purchse or rely on the SONY name again, no one stands behind it.

| shargantribe's Full Review: Sony MHC-MC3AV Shelf System |
For descent reception I had to get an amplified antenna. Unit is too bulky to move around. Too much weight for its size and features. The remote is crowded and buttons too small to navigate without pressing something else. Admittedly, bought hastily. Tape direction of tape player B stubborn to operate in YOUR chosen direction. Don't bother consulting your manual as it leaves you still wondering. Even less consideration was given on the SONY website for answers. Emails to SONY from the provided link went unanswered so dont rely on any answers or feedback. They got my money, don't let them get yours
