| crashedpc's Full Review: Sony MHC-MC3AV Shelf System |
The Sony MHC-MC3AV has got to be the most interesting mini-system that I've seen. It's not everyday that 50+1 CD systems use an upright CD storage mechanism. The functions are a bit intimidating, because the buttons are a bit too many and oddly labeled. You might mix-up what direction to put the CD in, because the labeled side faces right, and you just might confuse the sides while putting it in. The reception on the MC3AV is average, although I did get horrible static on the stations I couldn't recieve. The programmed station dial I confused for the tuning and volume dial at first, and I think this may cause some confusion, since the tuning buttons are hidden under the station dial. This would be good for a party, and probably at home too.
