| SKIP-K's Full Review: Mitsubishi HS-U445 VHS VCR |
I wanted to add a decent vcr to my home theater system that would function without problems, exhibit proven reliabilty, and be easy to set up and operate. The new line of Mitsubishi Vcr's had just come out and the entry level model I purchased was only $129.00 on sale.
I was aware of Mitsubishi products and their proven reliability and quality , buying it was easy, owning it is a joy. This vcr does just about everything; smart, easy, and fast. Here are the standard features: The unit comes with a self diagnostic system, S-VHS Quasi Playback, Alfa 400 precision High Speed mechanism, One touch recording, and auto clock set.
I found the perfect tape feature helpful as it determines the quality of your tape and adjusts itself accordingly. I like the ease of digital tracking, it is easy to set up and includes front panel imputs, a very user friendly menu with lots of options, and a new remote which is one of the best I have tested when looking for a vcr.
Also of interest is the all new exterior design which feels of very good quality for a unit in this price range. Mitsu says its machines are the fastest to rewind a tape and they also clean the heads each time a tape is put in.I've had this vcr for 5 months and I am happy with the great picture quality and the user friendly features.
For the money, I feel it is a great purchase and offers features found on units costing up to $100.00 more.
