Well I am definitly a fan of panasonic VCR's. I personaly hate TV, so I watch movies whenever I get money to rent them. I recently picked up this panasonic VCR, and was fairly impressed by the quality. I a much bigger fan of the older hi-fi VCRs, I bought this one from panasonic in '84, and it lasted me 16 years, I can still get it to play some tapes, but I decided to get a newer one. I can assure you that I was not disappointed at the newer models. I can't tell you that this VCR will stand the test of time,(nothing really does anymore) but my old panasonic lasted me quite a while. The remote that comes with it looks kind of complicated at first, but most of the stuff on thier you probably won't use. Their isn't much more i can tell you about this thing. You want a VCR you think about how easy it is to use, (the panasonic is one of the easiest),you want to know if the VCR is well built, (from my experience the panasonic is very well built), and you want to know how good the quatlity is, and how expensive it is. This particular VCR is not that expensive at all, and the quality is just excellent.
