yup! This is not what a VCR should be- so often one has to get up to see what the matter with this VCR is. This VCR can hardly ever get through an entire video without the picture bouncing up and down and when it does start bouncing it doesn't stop for five minutes straight! I was totally disappointed with this model. It may be true that JVC makes better VCR products, but then again I'd rather just go straight for DVD. Of course if you do need a VCR for your old videos then try looking at other brands like Panasonic or something. I know this problem is not from the videos I use because some of my videos I've tried on other machines. Also, this happens to all my videos. I don't think this one is worth your time and money. Stay Away!
