Panasonic VCRs' are one of the best buys around. We enjoy the ease in programming. The channel up and down buttons, help you to easily adjust the tracking. The digital output on the face front is easily seen from across the room and the setup is fairly simple with on-screen displays.
The fact that the recorder is VHS-VCR brings out the crispness and clearness of the picture...there are no lines or grids that periodically appear unless you are out of track, which is easily corrected using the remote control, and can be accomplished from the arm of your chair.
The best bet in any VCR is to purchase one with VHS & 4 heads and it positively needs to be one that handles stero-hifi output. The audio portion of any movie or sitcom is so important today. We have the best graphics and sound effects found in all of the previous years and it would be a shame not to enjoy the full quality by bypassing the HiFi VCR.
It is important to purchase the VCR+ or you might spend most of your evening trying to program your vcr and find yourself going back to the manual time after time to setup other channels and program dates in the future. This VCR has the VCR+ built in.
If you are not electronically or mechanically minded you enjoy and appreciate this brand and particular model number. You are getting a lot of product for the buck with this VCR.
