Pros: Good Look, Clear LCD display, Good sound (when buy new headphones), Jog Dial VERY useful
Cons: Doesnt feel very strong, headphones, Quite bulky, Remote lead too short, manual could be better
The Bottom Line: Overall I like this player a lot, as long as you dont mind the size of it, it is for you. Treat the player with care and it should last.

| ab___123's Full Review: Aiwa AM-F70 Personal MiniDisc Player |
This unit looks very good, which drew my eyes to it, especially the backlit LCD screen. The display is very good as long as you hold it right, the LCD display cannot be seen from all angles, but tilt the player a little and it displays clearly. The sound is the same on all Portable MiniDisc players in my opinion, as long as the headphones on this player are changed, its sound becomes a lot better.
When programming in track names and disk names the Jog Dial makes it very quick and simple, i find this a must for all the MiniDisc players because it is much easier to use.
The main problem i have found with this player is the size of it, especially when the external battery pack is connected, but if your not worried about the size, then this player is excellent.
Another major problem is the feel, whenever i eject the minidisk 1) You have to manually open it some of the way, and 2) it doesnt feel very strong, im scared i will break it whenever I open it.
The manual is OK but it is annoying having english only one one side , then other languages right of it, this makes it harder to find what you are looking for. It would be much better to set out english, then another language....etc.
The headphone you get with it are average, the sound quality is improved a lot if they are changed.
