| Ajos2's Full Review: Aiwa AM-F70 Personal MiniDisc Player |
The Aiwa Fm-70 is one of the better mini disc's out there. I bought my mini disc over this past summer, and I did extencive research on it. I was originaly going to buy an Mp3 player, but realized that there weren't to many good ones out there. I was going to buy the the SONY Vaio music clip, but after reading several reviews on it, I realized it wasen't worth it. So I began looking at Mini Disc's. I looked at the SONY MZR-55, I belive that was the one, witch was my orginal choice. Then I found the Aiwa FM-70.
I liked this one because it was almost exactly like the SONY, but for about $40-50 less. Another problem I ran into was that I couldn't find the SONY anywere. So I went a head and looked around for the Aiwa. I found it on a site called hifi.com. Since I had ordered it from this site, I recieved free satelite speakers and a small sub woffer. The mini disc came in about a week or so.
When I first opened it, I was really excited. It was really nice looking, and it had cool headphones. It came with and excellent instruction booklet, and came with a digtal cord for recording off a cd player. After I had copied a song, I used the headphones. Now they have a nice style, but they feel terrible on your ears. I have never actually used them because of the discomfort. Another problem was the remote control, I don't know what Aiwa was thinking when they made this remote control. Most of the remote controls have the cord that plugs into the unit on one end, and the whole for where the headphones plug into on the other end. Not this remote, the whole for the headphones and the cord that attaches to the unit are on the same end. Witch limts where you can attach you remote control.
All in all this is an excelent min disc despite the minors problems I just told you about. I would reccomend this mini disc to anyone who listens to music.
