| minidisc_guy's Full Review: Aiwa AM-F70 Personal MiniDisc Player |
I bought this minidisc recorder thinking it looked like a good buy. It had all these features and stuff, man I was glad to get this puppy. It had the glowing LCD, it was really thin, it looked really cool. It even had recording from the remote and boasted 40 hr. play. Soon, stuff started going wrong. Sometimes it would stop playing at the middle of the disc. Sometimes it wouldn't even recognize a disc. Sometimes it would make a whole lot of weird noises. We took it back to Circuit City and they refused to do anything even when we showed them the warranty. After we got it back from Circuit City it started literally falling apart. It would give Caution notices a lot. The remote had only half of the buttons operating. Right now it's held together with rubber bands. My opinion is to spend the extra money to get a Sony product, preferably the MZ-R90, which I am currently waiting to come in the mail. Stay away from this product. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW STANKY STANKY STANKY!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. The 40 hr. play thing is soooooo not true, it was only right over 10 with both the rechargeable and battery case.
