| beast003's Full Review: Aiwa AM-F70 Personal MiniDisc Player |
This player totally rocks. The sound is excellent, the features are complete, and above all, the screen and buttons are very usable unlike the inferior Sony MD player/recorders. Don't get fooled by the price! Many MD players are just that, players. You are paying more for this, because it records as well. The only drawback is its size, a bit larger than most. The average is usually about the size of each disc, meaning it fits easily into a pocket. This player is about an inch larger, still VERY portable. But the upside is that the buttons and controls are all so easy to access. All in all, a fantastic unit, the best I've seen. One word of note: to enjoy it to the fullest, get some really bangin headphones, don't use the okay but fairly cheap ones this comes with. The unit produces excellent unmarred sound, with no breaks. The bass is good, especially considering the size of the player. I've found that a ton has to do with the headphones. That's really the key issue. Good luck.
