| kalamela's Full Review: Aiwa AM-F70 Personal MiniDisc Player |
I bought the Aiwa AM-F70 about 4 months ago, and I'm generally pleased with the product. It has all the nifty features (naming the minidisc and the tracks, cool jog handle, remote, those attractive swoops headphones) that one would want in a player, plus it is just plain cool looking. Yet, I find that this minidisc player is only good, and not great. When I bought it, I was extremely pleased. Recording was easy, it sounded great, and it was fun to play around with. And then reality set in. The remote control is very flimsy. The clip doesn't hold on very well to bag straps, and the buttons are easily breakable (my volume button collapsed). I had to return my minidisc, and exchanged it for a new one (same brand). Now I'm more careful with the remote. Recording wise, the Aiwa does very well, although sometimes the sound level gets distorted if you're recording from your computer.
