When you have the headphones on and you're grooving, the last thing you want is for the batteries in your player to run out of juice. Add the external battery pack and slap in a few AA batteries, and you're set for a full 40 hours.
The AIWA backs up its extended recording time with all the modern features that you want from a MiniDisc player/recorder. It has 40 seconds of anti-shock memory, which means that your favorite tunes won't skip, and it also has a three-step bass boost to optimize how the music sounds.
This Aiwa unit opens and closes like a clamshell for convenient loading and unloading. Also, the LCD displays on both the remote control and the base unit are backlit for easy viewing. And you won't have any problems titling your recordings thanks to the jog dial control.
