WOW...that is all that is nesassary to say. For the price I spent ($230)
I have now come to the conclusion I have never bought a better music playing device. You can do all music editing onboard and the unit is great! Its very hard to believe even after it is bought to see a little box of metal in your hands about the size of a pack of cigarettes which can play music you mixed together whether recording digitally off a home unit or off a computer, radio or cd player. The unit is sleek and easy to use with its buttons and screen all lit up in a blueish color. The remote is great except for the manufactures choice of wire placement. Note that is not too much of drawback! However the remote controlling wise and looks is great! Recording is a sinch with only the touch of a button and at this size and sound quality..ha how is this not great! Any one who wants to make music mixes or recordings digitally from a microphone you gotta get this! Its really simple to use and the controls are great the menus are spelled out for you in the manual and the hookups to a soundsource is not complicated. Note you might need to buy a certain connection cable to use. One look at it and you will decide to buy it compared to the other players. I have personally compared it to competition such as the Sony Mzr-55 which is quite good but structualy and ease of use is not as strong as in the Aiwa. I personally feel that the Aiwa is great, do note you might need to use a better pair of head phones then the ones supplied.
