| daniel_h26's Full Review: Kenwood DMC-J7R Personal MiniDisc Player |
I chose to buy a Kenwood DMC-J7R(S) over the other models because it was cheaper. But I found out that buying things because of its price is not always the best thing to do. The Kenwood mini-disc is not loud, even when you put the volume to max. Also, I bought all these cables to record from regular CD's only to find that none worked. So, I have a mini-disc with two songs that I luckily got to record, and the rest blank.
Kenwood mini-disc is better than regular CD's. It offers a programmable title so you know what song you are listening to, without looking at the back of the CD case. Also, the Kenwood mini-disc has a remote control so you don't have to reach into your pocket to change tracks.
In all, I had trouble recording with the mini-disc player and it wasn't very loud. But the audio quality is even better than a CD's and has programmable titles. I wouldn't recommend this to other people because how are you going to build your collection of songs if you can't record any?
