| blimp360's Full Review: Sharp MD-MS702 Personal MiniDisc Player |
Ok...For all you who don't know, Sharp has discontinued this unit because of many reported malfunctions in the TOC (table of content..its the thing that reads tracks and titles). I heard that this problem happens in about half of these recorders so I decided to take a chance and get one. I bought it on Ebay as a refurbished unit. This means it has undergone repairs and maintinence checks. I also heard that refurbished units don;t have the TOc problem. But guess what, It did. The day I got it I would eat my discs and damage them so they wouldnt even be able to play in ANY player. Also when I tried to record, ALL changes i made would be erased and the disc damaged. So basically you should get your head checked before thinking of buying a Sharp MD-MS702.
