Great sound and not that expensive

I recieved this product as a graduation gift last June. I picked this model out because it was a palyer/recorder that was not that expensive (and I liked the look as well). I also like that the disc is placed into a slot on the side, instead of having to open the player, like with the clam shell design of other players. It provides great sound, especially when the optical input is used. I do have some problems with it though. It is difficult to put names to the tracks, because of the system with is employed. Also, just a little after the warranty (after about a year) I have begun having problems recording.
