Pros: Great recording sound, nice lcd back lit display, light
Cons: the flimsy battery cover, which makes the rechargeable battery useless
The Bottom Line: Buy a newer minidisc player, there are so many ones on the market that can now also record mp3

| autumrhythm's Full Review: Sharp MD-MS722 Personal MiniDisc Player |
This was a nice minidisc player
.. I recorded a couple of live shows with my binaural microphones. I used it to record my own music from my computer on to the mini disc. The sound quality was great, the controls were easy to use. The remote control that comes with the minidisc player is a great addition when you are jogging. (as you can easily change the volume or song order by just using this tiny remote )
The only thing I could not do was walk with the mini disc player without using the adaptable battery compartment . This came with the minidisc player to add to the rechargeable battery. It was extremely bulky. Then I found out why I needed this adapter. The tension in the rechargeable battery compartment will not push the battery down enough for the minidisc player to work. This became very annoying an the minidisc player became very bulky when I added the adapter.
I have heard from other Sharp minidisc users that they had a similar problem with this model.. Hmmmm!!!
I don't know I did not want to spend the money to repair it.. I decided to go out and by another player..
