| pennz's Full Review: Sony Walkman MZ-E25 Personal MiniDisc Player |
This unit replaces the older MZ-E2 (not sure the name...confused?) that I bought in 1993.
I remember that time when MD wasn't popular as today (not so yet) it comes with a free 15 MD titles from Sony Music, which I took and they are part of my music collection.
The E25 comes with a bundle with MD-S40 (all them in silver color) and this one really makes the difference.
Changing headphones in that older unit was impossible due it special plug, but now this E25 allows any headphones.
It suffered some hits, because I use to use it when going to sleep and it "sleeps" with me and some times if felt down my bed and survive.
Before buying the perfect car companion, Sony MDX-C6500X, I had to use the cassette car adapter to get my music on the go, but now I have the full power of producing my own discs.
MP3 let me to create many music selections and rec them directly from my PC -after equalize them all- and then, right to my car.
Perfect unit, no matter it don't rec, but it's the best and much more if you think I took it, together with the MD-S40 for just $400 USD.
The only thing to argue is the remote control...poor visibility, no backlight and some keys are difficult to operate.
Overall, it's a deal for that money
